Influential Editors of "Slashdot" Send First Telegram in Support of SAFE Act

Slash Dot Editors Jeff 'hemos' Bates & Rob 'Cmdr Taco' MaldaWashington, DC-- Americans for Computer Privacy is proud to announce that its campaign to pass the SAFE Act, HR 850, has just earned the support of some influential members of the Internet community. Jeff "hemos" Bates and Rob "Commander Taco" Malda, editors of the popular Slashdot discussion forum (http://www.slashdot.org), sent the first Western Union telegram in ACP’s campaign to pass the SAFE Act and protect online privacy and security. Hemos and Commander Taco, pictured here, filled out the free Western Union telegram form on the ACP site, http://www.computerprivacy.org/action. The telegram expresses their support for online privacy and security and the need to pass the SAFE Act. We welcome their support and leadership among Netizens in passing this important bill to protect our online security and privacy.
